What is a lookbook?
A lookbook is a set of styled images that presents a collection as complete outfits, usually with one model, setting and mood throughout. Brands use lookbooks to launch a season, to present the range to buyers and press, and to show customers how pieces go together.

Why does a lookbook matter?
Product pages sell one item at a time. A lookbook sells the collection: how the overshirt works with the trousers, which colours belong together and what the season feels like. It shows shoppers what to pair with what, and gives buyers a quick read of the range.
Consistency is the point. A lookbook with one model, one light and one setting reads as a single story. Photos from different days or suppliers read as a pile of pictures.
How do you plan a lookbook?

Common questions
What is the difference between a lookbook and a catalogue?
A catalogue shows each product plainly so it can be checked and bought. A lookbook shows the collection as styled outfits in one setting, to sell the story and the pairings.
How many looks should a lookbook have?
There's no set number of looks for a lookbook. Show each key outfit once, with enough frames to see it whole and in detail, and stop before looks start to repeat.
Can lookbook images go on product pages?
Yes. Lookbook frames work as later images in a product gallery, after the main image and the detail crops. Every Glammo paid plan includes a commercial licence for that use.
